The last rites were performed with Veerashaiva rituals, as pits were meticulously prepared in a single line within the Veerashaiva Rudrabhoomi of the village, allowing for the simultaneous burial of the deceased.
Transported from Mysore in four ambulances, the bodies were initially placed for public viewing in the house yard, granting relatives and well-wishers an opportunity to pay their final respects.
Many attendees offered garlands, bowed down in reverence, and took a final glimpse of their loved ones.

Speaking to reporters, DC Pawan Kumar Malapadi mentioned that the government has announced its intention to collect the bank account numbers of the deceased’s relatives for the distribution of compensation. Furthermore, he expressed that one of the three injured individuals from the accident remains in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment at Mysore KR Hospital. DHO H. L. Janardhan assured that he is maintaining a regular communication with the hospital regarding the patient’s progress.
