Mysuru’s grand Dasara celebrations to be low-key due to Covid-19: CM Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Karnataka’s famous Mysuru Dasara or Nadahabba, will be a low-profile event this year in October, due to the looming fear caused by the novel Coronavirus, said, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa Yediyurappa said, “Amid Covid-19 scare, the 10-day Dasara festival from October 16-26 will be celebrated in a simple way in order to prevent large gathering” He further said, “ Dasara will be celebrated in a traditional way with all the rituals performed but with no people. A high-power committee will soon meet on Dasara celebrations and decide on the modalities”
