Nanjangud: Man kills wife's lover over illicit relationship

Nanjangud: A man brutally murdered his relative, who was having an affair with his wife.

The deceased is Siddashetty (47) and the accused is Shivanna (59).

Case details:

A couple of months back Shivanna came to know that her wife was having an extramarital affair with their relative Siddashetty. Despite, warning the illicit affair continued.

On Sunday, June 5 Shivanna and Siddashetty had an argument over the issue.

Shivanna who lost his cool during the argument brutally hacked Siddashetty to death.

Following the incident, Shivanna directly went to the police station with the murder weapon and confessed to his crime.
