Natekal: Overloaded lorry loses control, Ppunges into gorge

An overloaded lorry carrying plywood lost control at a crucial turn, tumbling into a gorge on the Natekal-Manjanadi Road.

According to eyewitnesses, the lorry was en route from Deralkatte to Taudugoli, heavily laden with plywood cargo. Simultaneously, a cement mixer tanker was approaching from the opposite direction. Sensing the urgency of the situation, the lorry driver attempted to yield to the oncoming cement mixer tanker to avoid a collision.

However, due to the substantial overload, the lorry’s maneuver destabilized its balance, causing it to veer out of control and ultimately plunge into the nearby gorge.

Miraculously, the driver managed to escape the accident with only minor injuries. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera
