Under the new toll structure, the one-way fare for cars, vans, and jeeps has been raised from Rs 135 to Rs 165, resulting in an increase of Rs 30. Similarly, light vehicles and mini-busses will now be charged Rs 270, up from the previous toll of Rs 220, a hike of Rs 50.

The toll rates for trucks, buses, and 2-axle vehicles have also been increased from Rs 460 to Rs 565. Furthermore, three-axle vehicles will see a significant rise from Rs 3 to Rs 500, marking an increase of Rs 615. Heavy vehicles and seven or more axle vehicles will now be required to pay Rs 885 and Rs 1,080 respectively, up from the previous toll charges of Rs 720 and Rs 880.

NHAI had earlier deferred the implementation of the toll hike announced in April by 3 months following public outrage. However, it has now reintroduced the hike, commencing a month earlier than anticipated.
