Nine ‘Pashu Sanjeevini’ vehicles operational in DK

Bantwal: Dakshina Kannada district has so far received nine “Pashu Sanjeevini” ambulances for the protection of the animals.

While Dakshina Kannada has nine ambulances. Udupi district has eight.

‘Pashu Sanjeevini’ is a well-equipped veterinary surgical mobile service for the emergency treatment of cattle..

The farmers have to dial 1962 if any health problem arises and an emergency ambulance with a qualified Veterinary Doctor and equipment will reach and provide treatment at the doorstep of the cattle owners.

The “Pashu Sanjeevini” program is a component of the Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM) which aims to conserve and develop indigenous breeds in India.
