Confusion over SSLC exam for students residing in containment zones

Bengaluru: Primary and secondary education minister Suresh Kumar on Friday informed that the students residing in containment zones will not be allowed to write the SSLC exams. These students will be given the opportunity to write the exams along side the supplementary examinations and it will be considered as a fresh attempt. The SSLC examinations in the state which was postponed owing to Covid19 pandemic is scheduled to be held from June 25 onwards. However this announcement has led to confusion as people are wondering what if an area is declared as containment zone during course of the examination.
