Padubidri: Woman ends life by jumping into well

Padubidri: A 24-year-old woman ended her life by jumping into a well in Kodi, Hejamadi village on Thursday, May 26.

The deceased has been identified as Godavari, hailing from Bankikoodla village, Kumata in Uttara Kannada District.

Godavari was working in a fish factory here and was staying in a rented room along with three other girls.

The reason for the extreme step is yet to be known.
