The injured individuals, identified as Dixit, Umesh, Dinesh, Harish, and Gopal, were employed in the production department of an Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing facility.
The incident occurred while they were working in proximity to a newly installed boiling container containing medicinal solution. Suddenly, the container’s lid burst open, causing the scalding medicine solution to splash onto the workers, resulting in severe burns.
A complaint regarding the incident has been filed at the Manipal Police Station.
