Karnataka High Court recently ordered the return of all vehicles seized after their owners violated the lockdown.

According to the Department:
1. Seized vehicle owners must first visit the traffic police station and clear the fine if any in old pending case/s.

2. After receiving the clearance receipt from the traffic police station, the owner must then go to the Law and Order station. A photocopy of the vehicle records should be provided here, pay the stipulated fine and get another receipt.

3. The owner should also sign a written surety that he/she will not venture out in their vehicle again until the lockdown is over.
