Private hospital owner shoots himself dead in Kundapur

Kundapur: A private hospital owner allegedly shot himself dead at his friend’s residence in Molahalli on Puranik Road near Koteshwar.

The deceased has been identified as Katte Bhojanna (80), owner of a private hospital in Kundapur. He also owned several hotels in Bengaluru.

Bhojanna was found dead in the sit-out of his friend Ganesh Shetty’s house.

It is said that financial distress and land deal issues are the reason behind this extreme step.

Further investigations are underway.
