Protesters demand dismissal of MCC Commissioner following Lokayukta raid

Mangaluru: Following a recent Lokayukta raid on the home and office of Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner Anand C.L., protesters are calling for his dismissal.

On July 23, activists from the CPI(M) and DYFI attempted to lay siege to the Corporation office, demanding that the commissioner be removed from his position.

The police intervened during the protest and detained the demonstrators.
