Pulse polio drive: 90.5% of kids covered on day one in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Around 57,98,611 children aged less than five years were administered pulse polio drops on Sunday, Jan 31 with the campaign recording a 90.5% coverage on Day one

It is said that the state has slotted three days for the programme from January 31 to February 3 and the total targeted children are 64,07,692. However, on day 1 itself 57,98,611 children were given polio drops

Udupi covered 99.44 , Mandya 97.57 per cent, Uttar Kannada 96.52 per cent, Chamrajanagar 96.07 per cent and Bengaluru Urban 91.35 per cent.
