Puttur: Female student stabbed in Kombettu, accused taken into custody

A female student from the government pre-university college in Kombettu was stabbed with a knife on Tuesday, August 20 afternoon.

The injured student has been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.

Puttur police visited the scene and reviewed CCTV footage. They have taken a male student, who is suspected of the stabbing, into custody for questioning.

The motive behind the stabbing is still under investigation.
