Puttur: Three killed as car falls into ditch

Puttur: Three people were killed after the car in which they were travelling went out of control and plunged into a ditch on the Puttur bypass road on Saturday, December 28 morning.

The deceased have been identified as Annu Naik, a resident of Kanathila in Sullia’s Jattipalla, his son Chidananda Naik, a labor department officer from Chikkamagaluru district, and a relative, Ramesh Naik.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Puttur Government Hospital, as per reports.
