Raichur: 30 students injured after bus topples into field

As many as 30 students were injured after the bus they were travelling in overturned into a nearby field near Sagamakunta village under Raichur Rural Police Station limits.

The bus, which was traveling from Korvihal village to Raichur, was mostly occupied by schoolchildren. The bus driver lost control of the vehicle after its steering wheel got stuck when attempting to give way to a two-wheeler.

Sangeeta, a 9th-grade student from Korvihal village, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to hospital for treatment. The other students suffered minor injuries.
