Belthangady: Two teachers from the taluk have been chosen for the state-level Anita Kaul Best Teacher Award-2022. Teachers Ramakrishna Bhat Chokkadi and Sheikh Adam Saheb Nelyadi will receive the award at a ceremony scheduled to be held in Bangalore on February 22.
Ramakrishna Bhat Chokkadi is currently serving as the Headmaster of Belalu Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwar High School in Beltangady Taluk. As a literary expert, writer, and a good organizer, Ramakrishna Bhat has carried out special experiments including groundwater recharge, and an art gallery in his school.
Sheikh Adam Saheb of Nelyadi is a teacher, organizer, and active instructor. He hails from Kaukradi village of Nelyadi in Kadaba taluk and is currently serving as the headmaster of high school at Kavalpadur Government Pre-University College in Bantwal taluk.
