Residential quarters for A-grade Officers of DK ZP inaugurated

Mangaluru: The government residential quarters meant for `A` grade officers of Dakshina Kannada district Zilla Panchayath was inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada District in-charge minister U T Khader on Wednesday, September 26.

The quarters located near Urwa Stores has been built over 50 cents of land at a cost of Rs 4.83 crore.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the quarters Khader said that the model residential building will accommodate the `A` grade officers of district Zilla Panchayath, including the the CEO, joint secretary, Chief Accountant. He also informed about plans to provide housing facilities for other officers also adding that it will boost their morale and they would work with more enthusiasm.

The quarters consists of six apartments and is equipped with the basic facilities such as car parking, lift, security room,  62.5 KVA generator etc. Each floor has two apartments.

Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, ADC Kumar, ZP CEO Dr. Selvamani R, ZP President Meenakshi Shanthigodu and others were present.
