Road work on Kulur road causes traffic jam

Mangaluru: Work to lay interlock near Kulur road started on Saturday causing a heavy traffic jam on the highway.

Despite the weekend curfew, several vehicles are plying on the road which has caused major traffic disruption.

Motorists stuck in the traffic jam complained that the works could have been done during the lockdown or after 2 pm when the lockdown relaxation ends rather than in the morning.

Last month, Works on the Kulur bridge to patch up potholes caused the highway to be blocked for more than an hour.
