The tragic death of Sarath from Davangere at Arashinagundi waterfall in Kundapur has not deterred visitors from risking their lives for the perfect shot.

Disturbingly, tourists have been seen dangerously posing for selfies and reels near the waterfalls, leading to alarming consequences. Near waterfalls at the Charmadi ghat, reckless behavior has extended to stopping vehicle in the middle of the road to snap photos on slippery rocks, resulting in accidents and even causing an ambulance carrying a patient to get stuck.

To address this growing issue, the highway patrol police have been deployed at the waterfall sites to monitor and prevent further mishaps.

Police personnel will now be stationed at the locations throughout the day.
