Scooterist killed in serial accident

Padubidri: A person was killed in a serial accident involving a lorry, scooter and Mahindra pick-up vehicle at Padubidri Karkala Junction here on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident is said to have been caused due to the negligent driving of a lorry driver. The scooter rider sustained serious injuries and died at a hospital in Mangaluru.

The spot where the mishap took place is identified as an accident zone.
