SDPI Puttur president electrocuted while installing flex banner

Puttur: In a tragic incident SDPI Puttur town president lost his life, late Wednesday (October 10) night, while installing banners for the upcoming Jatha conference, scheduled to be held on October 12 for SDPI activists.

The deceased, Hamza Afnan was electrocuted to death after the iron frame of the flex that he was installing, near the petrol bunk at Darbe, came in contact with an overhead electric wire.

Puttur town police station have registered a case.
