Selvamani R appointed Dakshina Kannada ZP CEO

Mangaluru: Selvamani R, a 2013 batch IAS officer has been appointed as the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer (CEO). An order to this effect was issued by the state government on Thursday.

Selvamani R, who has served as Zilla panchayat chief executive officer of Bidar for the last 22 months will be replacing Dr M R Ravi.

A Karnataka Administration Service (KAS) cadre officer Dr M R Ravi had assumed the post of the Zilla Panchayat CEO of Dakshina Kannada ZP in December 2016. He has been transferred as the Commissioner of the Textiles and Handlooms Department with immediate effect.
