Settle crop insurance claims by December end: BC Patil

BJP leader and Minister for Agriculture in Karnataka BC Patil on Thursday instructed the concerned officials to settle crop insurance claims for the pre-monsoon season of 2022-23 by the end of December.

He was speaking during a meeting held with the officials in VikasaSoudha.

Patil further said that the officials should be in contact with the insurance companies and check whether the farmers’ Aadhar card is linked with the crop insurance.

The process of settling the crop insurance claims for the monsoon season must begin in January 2023, he added.
