Shankaranarayana: Vijayanagar edict found

Kundapur: An edict belonging to the Vijayanagar Empire has been found at an areca nut plantation belonging to Naveen Kulal near Shankaranarayan here.

The edict was found under the leadership of Pradeep Kumar Basrur by Praveen Kondalli, Niranjan Siddhapura, Manohar Billava, Krishna Kanduru, Naveen Kullal and others.

Arecheology professor Murugeshi has provided information regarding the history and background of the edict.
