Shiradi Ghat: Landslide; Boulder on the verge of rolling downhill

Nelyadi: A landslide has occurred near Maranahalli along Shiradi Ghat and 5-6 boulders toppled down on to the road. However, one more boulder is on the verge of rolling down the hill and thereby, is posing a major danger here. It is said that the landslide occurred since It has been raining heavily here since the last few days.

The landslide has not caused nay hindrance to the vehicular movement along Shiradi Ghat. But, if the boulder hanging in a dangerous state were to topple, a major calamity is inevitable.
