Shiroor matha’s successor’s ordination ceremony held in simple manner

Udupi: Anirudh Saralattaya, the successor’s to the Shiroor matha, was ordained as a sanyasi on Thursday at a simple ceremony.

As part of the ordination ceremony, rituals such as Shakala homa, Viraja homa, Praishochharane and others preaching were held.

Sri Vishwavallabha Theertha, the chief seer of the Sode Vadiraja matha performed the Pranava Mantropadesha and the Kalashabhishekha.
