Shiroor Seer's death: High level probe demanded

Udupi: A high level probe into the case of unnatural death of Shiroor Sri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji has been demanded by the Shiroor Seer Admirers’ Committee.

On August 11^th, the committee met at the Mathura Chatra in Udupi and put forth the demand for a high level probe into the Seer’s death. The meeting also decided to seek the assistance of donors to organise a Huli Vesha contest by setting up a Vittala Vedike  on the occasion of Vitlapindi as per the wish of the late seer. A public condolence meeting in honour of the seer was also proposed during the meeting.
