Protests have erupted in Shivamogga following the recitation of azaan by members of the Muslim community outside the District Collector’s office.
Right-wing groups, including Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, gathered in front of the office to express their opposition to the act.
During the protest, the groups accused Muslims of promoting bigotry and labeled them as hooligans.
Bajrang Dal workers were also seen cleaning the area using cow urine in response to the azaan recitation. However, the police quickly intervened and confiscated the bottle of cow urine.
