In a shocking revelation, Yuzvendra Chahal recalled an unsavoury incident when he represented the Mumbai Indians in 2013 season of the Indian Premier League.

A video of Chahal narrating the incident to teammates Karun Nair and Ravichandran Ashwin was shared by Rajasthan Royals on Twitter.

“I never spoke about this incident, from today everyone will know. I never shared this. In 2013 when I was with Mumbai Indians, we had a match in Bengaluru. There was a get-together after that. So, there was a player who was very drunk, I won’t say his name. He was very drunk, he was looking at me for a long time and he just called me and he took me outside and he hung me on the balcony,” Chahal said.

“My hands were around him. Had I lost my grip, I was on the 15th floor. Suddenly many people who were there came and handled the situation. I kind of fainted and they gave me water. Then I realised how responsible you should be if you go out anywhere. So, this was one incident where I felt I made a narrow escape. Had there been the slightest of mistake, I would have fallen down,” he added.
