Bengaluru: Leader of Opposition, Siddaramaiah who has made headlines numerous times for his not-so-wise statements and in yet another such incident after questioned a villager if he knew Hanuma’s date of birth

The former chief minister who visited his native place on December 27 was having a chicken meal when one of the villagers reminded him that it was Hanuman Jayanti, as a response, Siddaramaiah asked the villager if he knew Hanuma’s date of birth and if so then celebrate or else just eat the chicken.

The video clip of the incident is now making rounds on social media.

After the video went viral, the Education Minister Suresh Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, “Leaders like him believe that insulting the belief of our land is secularism.

“There is another leader who has asked for Sri Ram’s birth certificate,” Suresh added.
