Addressing the party workers during his visit to the BJP office at B C Road Nalin said that DK had got maximum grants when Yeddyurappa was the chief minister of the state and the MP felt that if the same party rules at the centre and the state, it helps in bringing additional grants.

“This election has proved that the people do not approve of luxurious style of family politics. Prime Minister, Modi, has laid emphasis on sacrifice and a life of detachment from luxuries, and the people have approved his principles,” he said.

“Dakshina Kannada district has been electing BJP MPs since the last 28 years, and it now has seven BJP MLAs. It has realized Modi’s concept of Congress-free rule. By electing 25 BJP MPs in Karnataka, the people have rid Karnataka of Congress party. The Congress is even ineligible to be officially recognized as opposition party,” he pointed.

Speaking after honouring Nalin, MLA Rajesh Naik said that Bantwal constituency has proved itself as a strong fortress of the BJP with his election with a margin of over 32,000 votes as compared to previous election.
