Special operation: Police remove tint from 498 cars

Mangaluru: In a special drive undertaken by the city police, tint films from cars which were above the permissible limits were removed.

A total of 498 cars were subjected to this treatment by the cops who also collected a total of Rs 49,000 in penalty.

Guided by police commissioner Dr Harsha P S, the operation was conducted within Mangaluru commissionerate limits.
