MLAs of Dinakaran group reportedly took shelter at the resort after two fractions of AIADMAK led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palani Swamy and former chief minister Panneerselvam merged together recently. Dinakaran and his 17 MLAs support another AIADMK leader VK Sasikala who was earlier expelled from the party.
The police were raided the resort before serving the notice to the resort owner on the stay of MLAs. However, no MLAs were found in the resort during the raid. The 17 MLAs are reportedly staying in Kodagu and are very likely to be return to their state without appearing before the media, sources said.
