A review meeting was held by C C Patil with the district officials in the city on Thursday, Jan 7
Speaking to the reporters, C C Patil said, ” We have received around 250 applications regarding red stone mining. Before giving permission, all the documents will be verified. I have instructed the deputy commissioner to take strict action against illegal red stone mining”
“196 CCTV cameras will be installed across borders in the district and we will also take measures to implement sand policy effectively,” he added
