Sullia: Families oppose relationship, couple commits suicide in lodge

Sullia: A young couple in love committed suicide by hanging themselves inside a lodge in Sullia on Monday, October 19. The deceased boy has been identified as Darshan, son of Aivarnadu resident Thimmappa Gowda an the girl is Indira, daughter of Sheshappa, resident of Narya Kalkaje near Dharmasthala. Reportedly the couple decided to take this extreme step after their families opposed their relationship. Sullia police have registered a case in this regard.
