Subbu’s journey in the world of photography began at the early age of eleven when he became a disciple of the renowned photographer Arvind Kumar at the prestigious ‘Padma Shri Studio.’ With a passion for the craft, he went on to become a partner at the illustrious ‘Navya Studio.’ Subbu’s dedication to his work and unwavering commitment was evident as he successfully ran ‘Sushma Studio’ for an impressive 16 years.

Beyond his photography pursuits, Subbu displayed immense talent as an amateur theater artist, often contributing model images for various illustrated stories. He was also actively involved as an amateur photographer for local newspapers. Notably, he played an instrumental role as a photographer during the inception of the first cable TV news network in Moodbidire, the Adla News, nearly 25 years ago.

Among his many contributions to the community, Subbu was best known for recording the discourses for Govindacharya’s Suprabhata program on ‘ETV.’ He dedicated five continuous years to this endeavor, capturing the essence of the spiritual sessions hosted by Bannanje at his residence.

Subbu’s untimely demise has left a void not only in the world of photography and theater but also in the hearts of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife and two daughters, who are now facing an irreplaceable loss.
