Techie drowning case: Lokayukta files suo motu case

A suo motu case was filed by the Lokayukta over the death of a 23-year-old woman whose car got submerged in a flooded underpass.

Based on the media coverage of the incident, Lokayukta Justice B.S. Patil filed a suo motu case under the Karnataka Lokayukta Act and ordered the police department to investigate.

As per sources, Lokayukta has directed the police department to investigate the factors that led to the accident and submit a report.
