Teenager dies after being crushed under falling coconut tree

Kasaragod: A teenager was killed after being crushed under a falling coconut tree on Saturday, July 16.

The deceased, identified as Shaun Aaron Crasta, a resident of Kayyar in Bandiyod.

The coconut tree reportedly got uprooted by the strong winds that swept the coastline in the afternoon on Saturday.

Shaun is the son of Stephen Kayyar who is serving as the secretary of the Kasargod District Kannada Reporters’ Association. He was a class 7 student at Don Bosco AUP School, Kayyar.
