Thick smoke engulfs Udupi city after fire in a field at Gundibailu

Udupi: A fire broke out in an agricultural field located in the Gundibailu area of Udupi city on Tuesday. As a result, a thick plume of smoke engulfed the surrounding areas.

A cloud of thick smoke covered the Kalsanka and Bannanje areas of Udupi. The plume of smoke was so thick that it could be seen from a distance.

The Udupi fire brigade personnel acted promptly and managed to douse the fire, preventing any further damage. However, the smoke from the fire had already spread to the entire city, inconveniencing the residents.
