The incident occurred when a car traveling from Shivamogga to Tirthahalli collided with a bus heading in the opposite direction towards Shivamogga.
According to preliminary reports, the accident transpired as the car driver attempted to overtake near Morarji Desai School in Gajanur. Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and collide with the oncoming bus.
One individual sustained severe injuries, while the remaining three occupants suffered minor injuries. They were promptly transported to a hospital in Shivamogga for further treatment
