The victim is Abdul Hafiz. As per the complaint lodged by him, he was carrying a bag with Rs.16 lakh cash in Gujari lane when three men stopped him. They attacked Abdul and snatched the cash bag and fled the spot.
The additional superintendent of police T J Udesh said that they were enquiring whether the bag had such a huge amount of money. The accused have been unidentified and further investigation is still in progress.
