The book title ‘Siddu Nijakanasugalu’ is a typification of ‘Tipu Nija Kanasugalu’ (Tipu’s real dreams). The book release will be held at 3 pm by Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Legislative Council member Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and Rohit Chakrathirtha.

The book is said to have commentary on the issues during the Siddaramaiah administration such as the appeasement of minorities, and the withdrawal of the cases against PFI members. It is alleged that the book portrays the Siddu (Siddaramaiah) of today as the Tippu of the past.

However, Siddaramaiah is mused at the antics of the writer. Siddaramaiah has vehemently objected to the book’s release. he has termed the book release as a BJP hypocrisy as the Karnataka elections approach. “Have you forgotten that Jagadish Shettar and Shobha Karandalaje had dressed as Tipu?” he asked.

Moreover, Siddaramaiah has called for a protest at 2 pm in front of the town hall. The situation remains tense.
