Traffic affected as uprooted tree blocks Kalladka-Vittal Road

Bantwal: A huge tree got uprooted due to a minor landslip at the Majjoni of Kodapadavu Cross completely blocking the Kalladka-Vittal Road, here on Wednesday, August 24.

The uprooted tree fell on two electric poles nearby, damaging them completely.

As a result of this, traffic congestion was observed for a short period of time.

Alerted by locals, the forest officials rushed to the spot. The debris was cleared with the help of locals and forest officials and the traffic was allowed on the raoad.
