Two arrested for trying to steal money from ATM

Karwar: Two persons were arrested on Saturday by the Banavasi police for trying to steal money from an Indian Overseas Bank ATM in Dasanakoppa of Sirsi Taluk. The arrested are identified as Santhosh Bovivaddar (21) of Badanagodu and Munnasab Davudsab (32) of Itaguli Kolakoppa. Though the incident took place two months ago, The case was investigated under the guidance of CPI B Girish by police officer Chandrashekhara Harihara and the accused were arrested on Saturday. The Banavasi police had been registered a case with this regard.
