Udupi: Ambulence catches fire at Kalsanka

Udupi: A private ambulance caught fire on the Kalsanka junction here on the evening of Monday, May 16.

The vehicle was moving from Udupi towards Manipal when the fire was noticed. Fortunately, the ill-fated ambulance was not carrying any patients at the time of the incident. None were hurt in the fire.

As the blaze spread, Fire services were called in and the fire was later doused.

There was a traffic jam on the busy road for a while due to the incident.
