Addressing the gathering, Ramdev stated, “Yoga is not just information; it is a practice that everyone around the world should embrace in their lives. It is a crucial aspect of the eternal principles of Sanatana Dharma, a precious heritage bestowed upon us by our ancestors and sages.”
He expressed confidence that soon, 80% of the global population would engage in yoga practices, emphasizing the urgency of this transition.
“Without yoga, our bodies become susceptible to various ailments. It is essential to perform yoga asanas to maintain balance in life. The entire world must be liberated from diseases through the propagation of yoga,” he remarked.

He praised the efforts of Puttige Swami, who, through the “Koti Gita Lekhana Yajna,” is spreading the essence of the Gita and performing commendable work.
Ramdev expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to receive the blessings of Shri Puttige Swami while visiting the sacred land of Udupi, where he also experienced a unique connection with Lord Krishna.
“I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to witness Lord Krishna in Udupi,” he added.
Ramdev also acknowledged the global respect for various cultures, stating, “We honor the traditions of people worldwide, including Russia and China. Even North Korea, under Kim Jong-un, will embrace yoga.”
Yoga dedication ceremony
During the event, Parshwa Puttige Swami addressed the audience in Sanskrit, welcoming Baba Ramdev’s dedication to promoting yoga.“Baba Ramdev has come to offer yoga in the presence of Lord Krishna, the yogi. Like Arjuna, who achieved victory across the three worlds, he is working tirelessly to promote yoga. We must share the eternal treasure of yoga and the essence of the Gita with the world,” he remarked. Several skilled yoga practitioners from Patanjali Yoga Peeth demonstrated challenging yoga postures. Daily yoga sessions From October 24 to 26, daily yoga sessions will be held from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM at Shri Krishna Mutt, in collaboration with Puttige Mutt and supported by the Central Sanskrit University and the Indian Vidwat Parishat. Baba Ramdev will provide guidance on yoga, asanas, pranayama, and various tips for enhancing overall health during these sessions. Free admission Participants are required to bring their own mats for the yoga practice. The camp will be conducted by Baba Ramdev himself, and all are welcome to join without any registration fee.
