Udupi: Koodlu waterfalls reopened

Udupi: The Koodlu waterfalls here which were closed due to the COVID-19-induced lockdown was opened for the public.

The entry fee for visiting the waterfall located within the dense forest has been increased to Rs 200 by the Forest Department. Earlier it was Rs 50.

Locals complain that a lot of tourists visit the waterfall, it would be detrimental to them if the entry fees are hiked. Adding that there are no facilities such as drinking water or toilet available for them.
