He was speaking at a religious event held on the occasion of the dedication of the renewed temple of Sri Bhagavan Nithyananda Swami Mandir Matha, Garbhagriha, and the consecration of Sri Guruvarya’s Panchaloha idol in Udupi.
Nithyananda Swami will be the greatest inspiration for all devotees including philanthropist K.K. Avarsekar, whose largehearted donation made the renovation of the temple possible, he said and added that MAHE will give full cooperation to the establishment of education, health institutions, and the development of the temple.
MLA K. Raghupati Bhat, in his address, said that the contribution of K K Avarsekar for the renovation of Nithyananda Swami Mandir Matha, in the heart of Udupi, has created a new history for the city. The path leading to the temple is narrow and efforts are being made to widen the street by clearing some of the buildings in front of the temple, he added.

K K Avarsekar felicitated
Dr. H S Ballal and MLA K Raghupati Bhat felicitated philanthropist K K Avarsekar who made the largest financial contribution for the renovation of the Sri Nithyananda Swami Mandir Matha.
More than 10,000 devotees participated in the festivities organized on Monday at the renovated temple, including Punyaha, pratishta kalasha, Adhivasa Homa, Mahaganapati yaga, Bimba Punahpratishte of Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Swami, Jeeva kalashabhisheka, Prasanna puja, Mahapuja, Pallapuja, and Maha Annasantharpane.
Deeparadhane, Rangapuja and various religious and variety programs were held in the evening.
