Udupi: Udyavara “Jayalakshmi” clothes shop co-founder Geeta Hegde passes away

Katapady: Co-founder of the famous Jayalakshmi clothes shop at Udyavara Geeta V Hegde (70) died on August 17.

Hegde founded the clothes shop along with her husband Vasudev Hegde 52 years ago which is now famous across Karnataka.

She is survived by her sons Veerendra Hegde and Ravindra Hegde and daughter Veena Hegde, who are the present owners of the shop.
